A message to those who purchased Engraving on English Table Clocks: Art on a Canvas of Brass
Dear Reader,
Thank you for purchasing Engraving on English Table Clocks: Art on a Canvas of Brass, 1680-1800.
As of October 27, 2020, those purchasing the book will receive a username and password granting access below to the on-line Supplement to the Text. The Supplement is available to all those who purchase the text.
The on-line Supplement is structured along the same chapter format as the book. The Supplement contains commentary on the engraving details of over 400 additional English table clocks not covered in the original book. Each clock’s identity code is listed in the on-line text with a hyperlink to the image in the digital library. The Supplement is searchable for those wishing to lookup information on an individual maker. When viewing clocks in the digital library, a notation indicates whether or not the clock is covered in the supplement. Readers of the Supplement will also find a useful index to view Tompion’s clocks listed according to his numbering system.
Dear reader, thank you again for your interest in Engraving on English Table Clocks. I hope that you will find the on-line Supplement a useful addition to the information covered in the main text. I would like to take a moment to thank the many contributors of images who have made this entire project possible. They include those listed below and I urge you to visit their websites as well.
Very best wishes to you,
Sunny Dzik
